Modern & Sleek Sewing Room!
I’m having so much fun with the sewing rooms this month, aren’t you??!! I have gotten a ton of inspiration for design, storage & organization and even to clean up my sadly neglected sewing room….Although, not so much on the cleaning part.
Ok, so our room today is for the contemporary. Tristan Robin Blakeman’s room is simple, chic and represents clean lines. His quilting style and collage art are just marvelous yet so different from one another.
Seriously, looking at his work and collages, I imagine his decor style more Victorian with doilies on the tables and huge brocade drapes…But nope….His creative eye is very versitile. Instead, the chartreuse walls, light colored wood storage and glass showcases for his contemporary pottery collection resemble Tristan’s sleek style.
Located in the front of the house Tristan’s room is 20′ X 24′ and has a wall of windows that face the park he lives right in front of. Right now, he is doing a little remodel and getting new floors, so that’s why we only have one shot of his room. But, I’m glad we are able to share this one, anyway!
Keep in touch with us, we love to hear your suggestions for topics you’d like to hear about and how you feel about the topics we do post. Stay tuned, though, I have a couple more sewing rooms to feature before Monday!!

LOVE the wall color.
