Stitchin’ Heaven Howdy

I’m not sure I know anyone who loves Spring time more than Ellen Medlock. And you can surely see the truth in that in her sewing studio! Ellen’s studio has splashes of color everywhere and such a happy feel to it!

The bright flowers and elegant scrollies surely define the “girly” in her! How could you not be inspired by being here? Ellen’s designs consist of bag patterns first, which come largely from her obsession over vintage bags (which inspire a lot of her design). She designs crafty bangel bracelets for you to decorate any way you wish, you can see what she’s done with them here. Aside from those, Ellen also, designs collaged framed art and like that isn’t enough fun, Ellen has designed some one of a kind fabrics from spoonflower.com and can be seen at her Etsy shop!

So, I got to ask Ellen what her favorite cartoon was. She answered  “My favorite cartoon is Peanuts! I love Charlie Brown and Friend since grade school- and if I had a personal theme song it would be the theme from the Charlie Brown TV shows.. “Linus and Lucy”! I made an iMix that is out there somewhere that is called “Spritely Spring” recently that has some of this Charlie Brown jazz on it…”

I told Ellen I thought of her more as a Hello Kitty fan! She agreed that she’d have to add that in there, too! Ellen has such a fun personality! So, if you ever get the chance to meet her or say hi, you definatley should take it!
